Since many years Olimpic Sails has been engaged in research and development programs to improve and expand its offer.

The luck of residing in an area where there is a University of the highest level, Centers of excellence such as the Area di Ricerca and the Sincrotrone of Trieste internationally recognized for their skills, has allowed us to create a series of synergies which led to analyze and solve many of the problems that the sails have such as delamination, the resistance of the overlapping areas between the boxes of the sail, the possibility of very particular customizations and the eco-sustainability of the materials.

Over the years, research projects have been carried out on the materials that compose the membranes and on the processes for making racing and cruising sails.

The positive results obtained as a result of these researches allow us to provide a 5-year warranty on the delamination of the sails, advanced printing services on nylon fabrics and above all a very high quality of the membranes for racing and cruising sails.
